Policy 2625 - Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences have been adopted by RISE Charter School as a means of reporting student progress to parents/guardians in grades K through 12. These conferences are to serve as a two-way method of face-to-face communication for the benefit of the child. They should not necessarily be confined to reporting, but may be planned for any occasion that will be helpful to the teacher, the child, and the parent/guardian. They should afford an opportunity for sharing information and views designed to promote the welfare of the child.

The schedule of conferences, the number of conferences, and general details shall be worked out to meet the needs of the parents/guardians, teachers, and students.
