Unauthorized School Bus Entry
RISE Charter School contracts with Kimberly School District for all transportation services. As part of this agreement, RISE Charter School adopts and mirrors Kimberly School District’s transportation policies to ensure consistency and compliance with shared operational standards. Accordingly, the following policy is implemented at RISE Charter School exactly as it is established by Kimberly School District.
The Board of Trustees hereby instructs the superintendent to place the following notice at the entrance to all school buses which warns against unauthorized school bus entry:
NOTICE
A person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor if that person:
- Enters a school bus with intent to commit a crime;
- Enters a school bus and disrupts or interferes with the driver; or
- Enters a school bus and refuses to disembark after being ordered to do so by the driver.
